However I have told him major lies about where my parents are from and where I grew up which has escalated over time. Now he desperately wants to meet my family and I cant seem to be able to tell him the truth. He is also finding this behaviour unacceptable I only lied because I didnt think he would find me cool enough if I told the truth. Reply to this Question Share |

Just be honest with him honey, I found out in relationships that to have a stronge one, you need to be honest. If he loves you, he'll forgive you, just explain everything to him and say you were scared about what his first impression of you will be!
He would have found out eventually, so its best coming from you rather than him finding out himself! You'll be in a pickle then!
Honesty is the best policy babe, you've not lied about something which I would consider major, just learn from this for the next time! xx
