this is more to do with my bestfriend rather than my bofriend.

i have been going out with my boyfriend now for 19 months. i adore him he means absolutly everything to me but ive actually known him for about 8 years. we met in primary school when i was in year 3 he was in year 6 and when he left to go to high school, we used to 'play out' on the street and used to hold hands n stuff. now im 15 and he is 17. we almost live together my mum says we are unseperable and we are in love. but the thing is ever since the moment we met all those years ago in primary school he has called me 'my little fattie' im his little fattie.

when i was younger i was a fattie lol. now im 5' 4 and size 14 clothes, so yea i might still be a 'fattie' lol. but he loves me for what i am and he says he wouldnt have me any other way. 'my little fattie' is a nickname that has stuck for all the years we've known each other and it hasnt bothered me.

but.. my best friend, ive known her since pre-school we met when we were about 2. we have been best of best friends ever since, 13 years and she is the best. we tell each other absolutly everything and even my boyfriend could not come between us. but she has recenly noticed my boyfriend calling me 'my little fattie' as he still does it but not as often.

she says she would be really offended and she would finish hiim because of this. shes made it into a really dig deal and shes making me think about it and its never bothered me but shes turning it into a problem, why is she making issues for me? do you think he does mean harm by calling me this?

eyeswideopen agony auntIgnore your friend's comment and enjoy what you have with your boyfriend. It sounds like a great relationship and the nickname isn't offensive because he says it with such affection. Enjoy.
