I have been talking to this girl for a couple of weeks on the phone. Recently we talk for several hours over the phone and really enjoy it. The only problem was that she said she had been hurt a lot recently by guys and wasn't really sure what she wanted out of it.

We decided to meet night before last and we stayed together for 10hours!!! Didn't have sex but towards the end we did make out some, and then last night we had phone sex.

All was going good and we were going to meet again Sunday and go out to the movies and she told me on the internet tonight that she had been thinking that she's not ready for a relationship and that all of her past relationships went bad because she was never just friends first and that she didn't think that we should be holding hands or kissing or anything else that couples do because she doesn't want to send me the wrong message.

I've really become quite taken by the girl and this kinda startled me as I have heard the whole just wanna be friends line before so how should I take this and what should my response be because oddly enough I'm hurting pretty bad.
