He used to throw things and break them, then he started pushing me and I will admit that I used to hit him allot, but I haven't in years until...I have been pushing him away for a while and we haven't been "together" in over a month. Last night he said something and I accidentally hit him in the eye and he punched me in the stomach. Then he said something really hurtful and I slapped him, and he got up and punched me in the face and broke my nose and then just stood there, but then he tried to aid me, but he wouldn't say anything. He said he was sorry, but didn't seem remorseful, he said he knew it was over, but for some reason I wasn't as upset at the time as I am now. Can you tell me why I can't keep it together now, when last night I was numb? Why didn't I let him go when he said he would to make sure he wouldn't do it again? Reply to this Question Share |

Honey, don't worry - you'd just been punched in the face! You were just stunned and shocked, for obvious reasons, so you weren't quite in touch with your emotions... don't fret.
I hope you feel better soon!
