writes:well there is this popular boy in my homeform and i realy like him but he found out. one day a couple of weeks after he found out my friend was talking to him and asked if he liked me and he didnt say anything for a while then changed the subject. i realy like him but he is one of the most popular boys in the grade and i am not even in that group, i am popular in my class, not my grade. i used to talk to him a heap and i still did after he found out but now we hardly talk and i cant stop thinking about him!!! What you are experiancing is young guys that dont know what the they want. Most guys that are your age dont want a relationship..they just want to be themselves. I just graduated highschool and i will tell u that guys in high school still arent always mature. But u are very young and have your whole life ahead of you..and believe me there will be many many guys in your life in the next couple of years. Dont fret about this one guy. If he isnt showing interest..dont waste your time on him. Just move on and find someone better. There is a guy out there for you that will sweep you off your feet...dont worry about this one guy...he obviously doesnt know what kind of amazing person you are.

reader, anonymous, writes (9 July 2009): Oh dear this same thing happened to me.Unfortunately I think he`s embarrassed about the fact you suddenly now fancy him.Now what happened to me was we became sudden deadly enemies and we would argue so much.that continued for two years until we were civil to each other for a few months then there was just silence.If the relationship with him is anything like mine then nothing will happen as he just doesnt feel that same way about you and is too embarassed to say.However because he is popular then maybe he is still embarassed to say to you as he hasnt been put on the spot before and suddenly has now.I would wait a while before you speak to him again and when you do just make small talk for a while.if he reacts badly its best to leave him alone but you never know it may help him get over it and start talking to you more. i wish you the best of luck.I was so hurt by my guys reaction and still am not over it after five years.
