writes:Dear Cupid,I dont have any children and i have never been married yet. I am a 22 year old female. The other day my mother had told me about the needle trick that her grandmother taught her.. U take a needle tie it to thread and put it on ur palm. If it goes in circles its a girl if it goes back and fourth its a boy. I did it and it said a girl than a boy... My grandmother did this to alot of woman and it worked everytime. It also worked on my mother, my sister, and my sister in law... I was just wanting to know if u have ever heard of this????. And does it work????...Thanks, so much

reader, anonymous, writes (17 December 2009): i have. Its easier if you stick the needle into the eraser of a wooden pencil. Let it hang over your wrist. Hold the thread. Left to right is boy, and up and down is girl. It is weird and i dont understand HOW it works, but it does for me every time. (all 7 kids in the rt order) It shows my mother, grandma, my sister, my daughter, and even showed my daughter in laws twins. I have known it to be wrong a couple of times but it is eerily right most of the time.
