writes: I met this guy about 3 months ago he is a very shy guy I see him once or twice a week watch movies at his house he has even cooked me dinner he will text me every day morning noon and night he use to work nights and I worked days so our scheduals were way off now he has moved to day shift we get off work at the same time but he seems to want to go home and do nothing with me in the evenings except for texting me all evening long I was upset and asked him if I was his once a week sex he said no.I dont understand what he wants from me why does he text me all the time every body thinks I am his girlfriend but we do nothing except text. I have no clue what is going on.

reader, anonymous, writes (20 May 2009): Hmm...this stuff must happen a lot because I'm pretty much in the same situation. Me and this guy work really close, so I see him almost every time I work. We text and make plans...but they never follow through on his behalf. It gets extremely frustrating because it makes me feel like I'm not good enough...even as a friend. We don't talk on the phone, and barely talk in person. Honestly, I think both of these guys are jerks. If they're not putting effort into these weird "relationships," why should we waste our time? I wish the best of luck to you. Reading your post actually helped me clear my head. I could meet so many other guys who would be interested in spending time with me. I'm not going to waste my time on this loser, he's already had enough of it!
