hello. my girlfriend broke up with me and a month latter we started talking. i told her i still had feelings for her. she did too or so she said. so a week latter we went to the mall and i felt like crap because she was dating some other guy and telling me she loved me.

i love her but she lied and cheated on me. she seems to not want to go back out but asked if i consider dating her again. i love her but dont want to be hurt again and dont know if i can trust her. should i take her back?

AskRosie agony auntI am around the same age as you, and I have been hurt many times. If you don't trust her then it probably would be wrong to ask her out again as she would probably do the same thing again. She could be trying to make her other lad jealous??

A reader, anonymous, writes (18 August 2008):

I think that because you don't trust her you should try to move on. Trust is one of the most important aspects of a relationship and it keeps it going, so if you don't trust her it probably won't work out. There are plenty more girls out there and i'm sure you can find someone who won't do that to you!

Hope that helped a little, Good luck!

xx Hope xx
