I can't really control it...but it's happened before during sex, too. I've heard it is my body's natural way of cleaning itself, but by the end of the day, my panties are like soaked! I've had it for about a year, but my pap and cultures came back clean. What's the deal?

I'll definately look into those Always pantyliners..the tiny ones that come in the purple package. They smell good, too. I've tried them before and will go back. What do mean 'pouring'? When I stand up in class it goes *woosh* (without the sound effects, mind you) and I bet I get a good half-teaspoon of liquid every few hours. As we speak I'm a little damp.
It doesn't have a 'bad' odor, just AN odor. Just a smell. Smells like...I don't know. Just not bad.

A
reader, anonymous, writes (5 March 2008): hey there,
it sounds perfectly normal. the best thing to do is to wear pantyliners, as the two aunts below have recommended. you will forget you are wearing them in no time. ive had clear discharge since i started highschool (im now in uni) and ive worn pantyliners ever since. it's become such a habit that it doesn't bother me. plus it feels fresh and keeps your undies clean.
as long as its not pouring out, i dont think there is anything wrong. most women get discharge to some degree.
take care

I went through this too and it was quite normal. It was before I had any type of sexual relation, so it wasn't a sexually transmitted disease. As long as there isn't a bad odor, I wouldn't worry too much. Especially since you've already seen your doctor about it. The only thing that helped me was wearing pantyliners. Change 'em as often as you need and this shouldn't be a problem. I grew out of this within a few months. But if you really do feel like there might be something wrong, it couldn't hurt to get a second doctor's opinion. Maybe your doctor only screened you for yeast or bacterial infections. If you have been sexually active, make sure to tell your doctor this so they can screen you for other things as well, like gonorrhea and chlamydia. Hope you get your answers!

reader, anonymous, writes (5 March 2008): Yeah, this is a totally natural thing. I think quite a few women get this, because I've heard of it happening before. Why not get some thin pantyliners (for people that have really light periods) and use them - they're totally discreet because they're so thin, and its nothing new to you, just like you're on your period. This could help you keep a bit more dry down their honey. But try not to worry, it's not a medical issue or anything. However, if it gets to the point where you really cant stand it, go to the doctors and he might be able to give you some advice :]
