A female , anonymous writes:

I occasionally go out for an afternoon coffee with a female friend of mine and the other day she emailed me to tell me that she thought the guy at the coffee shop kept looking at me.

The last few times I have gone in the shop he has asked me if I have had a good day (but thats just being polite I feel).

The last time we were in there she said whilst we were looking out for someone she said this guy kept looking over and said did you notice how he came over to clean the tables by us and I said it was part of his job and I don't think its anything more. The day after I saw him and as I was walking towards the store as it was part of Tesco, I looked up and he was walking with a female colleague and looked over at me but he didn't acknowledge me.

We went in today and again asked me how my day had been and I was saying about just getting the last things sorted for christmas and he said 'we have got to do that as well' which indicates to me that he has got someone. He then kindly brought my drink over as I had children with me (which again is part of being a friendly service) and then my friend said again did you notice him clearing up the table behind us and I said I noticed it but again its part of his job.

So is my gut instinct correct that he is just being friendly after all it sounds like he has someone or is my friend's thought that he liked me the correct one.
