I have been getting this small red dots all over the lower halves of my legs they're under the skin and are freckle-like but like really red. they don't itch but sometimes an area of my leg will itch like crazy and it leaves a red looking rash. its happened twice within the past couple of weeks and the first one went away. but I got a second one and the spots are still all over my legs. I was reading on the internet and they say it may be from shaving but I haven't shaved in 2 weeks (i know its sick..) and they're just spreading. they've spread to my feet now and its just freaking me out. does anyone know what this is? is it an std/sti? or is it from shaving? but if it is.. how because I don't shave my feet? and this has never happened before and I've been shaving for years.

It was awful and idiopathic /:

If it continues to spread, DEFINATELY go see your doctor. If it is an STD/STI, immediate action is required. I know this contradicts what I said, but the choice is yours.

Another possibility is something called keratosis pilaris
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keratosis_pilaris
Most people see dramatic improvements simply by exfoliating the affected areas regularly, and there are some lotions and potions you can get which will help, but as far as I am aware there is not a cure for it. As annoying as it is, the good news is it is harmless.
Although the symptoms match, I am not a doctor so it is still worth going to see a qualified dermatologist or your doctor to find out for sure what it is and how to treat it.
