A female United States age 26-29, anonymous writes:

Ok, first off, I'm 14. I'm still in middle school and I'm single. i don't mind being single, but there are times when I would want a boyfriend. Like really badly. So, there's this guy who's junior in high school. I've started to like him. We've chatted once or twice. He's a sweet, sweet guy. The thing is, my mom told me i can't date high schoolers until I'm in high school. So he would be a senor next year when I'm a freshman. So would that still be okay if a freshman dates a senor if they like each other? Should I wait until next year?

Yeah. Obey your parents. Believe me they do know best when you least think they may. Wait and hopefully things will work out... in the meantime, get to know him a little bit more and see for sure if he's a guy you'd like to go out with. Good luck :)

Whats the rush? Enjoy being single for a bit and see what else happens. Besides if he's a sweet guy he will wait for you till your ready. Wait till next year and see how it all plays out.
