 If you feel like you're not going to get anywhere with this girl, don't try and pursue her any longer. The pain of wanting her but not being able to have her will just be long and drawn out if you keep waiting for something that's not going to happen.
Don't try and meet girls for the purpose of dating them, that will make you feel nervous and awkward around them. Just socialise as a friend. Whether you're at school or college or work, I don't know what you do but whatever you do, just start talking to women in a friendly manner. Having more female friends will make you more relaxed around girls. Then, when you sincerely like a girl, see how it goes, just get to know her and talk to her and see what happens.
