Should I reject her (the same way she did), keep her as a friend or give a relationship a try?

Question - (30 March 2009) 1 Answers - (Newest, 30 March 2009)
A male United Kingdom age 36-40, anonymous writes:

I recently met a girl who I had the hots for about 6 years ago at varsity. She rejected me (she was in a bad emotional space) and I got over her and moved on with life. Now she wants me back for some reason. She is a good woman and I wouldn't mind dating her but just wonder if there are some ulterior motives involved. I have progressed much faster in life than my peers and because of material possessions (nice house, nice cars etc) girls (some from the past) frequently try to get with me. Should I reject her the same way she did, keep her as a friend or give a relationship a try? I don't want to go through that heartache again.

Michelle16 agony auntYou say she was in a bad emotional space so maybe she just wasn't ready for a relationship, now she's older and may be ready for proper commitment?

I think you should give the relationship a try.

If you don't you might always wonder.
