Should I make one last effort to commit to him?

I was about to split up with my bf and child's father but xmas he has been making an effort. I had been so unhappy - hardly saw him. Did not introduce me to his family etc. Well there is still away to go.

He asked me if I loved him and I could not answer as I had gone off him. I replied by saying that I did not know him.

the time together has made him grow on me again and I know plan to cook for him as he always complained that I never cooked.

I am going to make one more last effort to try to make him commit if not I move on.

Has any one got any other suggestions? There is a guy I have a crush on that I was going to start pursuing.

Cooking for him is not going to make him commit to you. I think I saw your last question, and if I remember correctly, you have been with him for many years. Don't give him a 50th chance to break your heart-move on!
