A female United Kingdom age , anonymous writes:

I have been with my partner for nearly 20 years,we split up for 2 years, but have been back together for 2 years, during the time we was apart we both had relationships with different people,it didnt workout for me because the guy i was with had always been on his own and didnt really want to be in a relationship,we parted our ways and i was on my own for quite a while, until my partner came back to me because his relatiosnhip didint workout with this lady,at the time i felt he only wanted to get back with me becuase it didnt workout with her.

Things were ok with us when we first got back together, but over the last few months we have drifted apart again,we are great friends but thats about it.i sleep on the sofa, but thats mainly due to his snoring.well all through the time i have been back with my partner the guy i was with has ocassionally contacted me through email trying to meet up with me,i have brushed this a side in the past and got on with my life.but a few days ago this has happened again and this time i havent,i dont know why,i have treid my hardest to do so.but now my heart is telling me onw thing and my head another,i just dont know what to do.im feeling sick all the time.please help

aunt honesty agony auntWell you need to ask yourself do you love your partner? And if so are you willing to work really hard on the relationship to fix it, if not and your heart is just not in it then you are better ending it now before it goes any further.
