Question - (2 August 2008) 3 Answers - (Newest, 4 August 2008)
A female United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

okay...my boyfriend is very sweet and all that and we have never gone further then kissing. He once asked me if i did want to have sex with him and i said the time wasn't right. however when we are in the company of friends they are always joking about how good their sex life was and stuff. I always notice how uncomfortable he looks when this happens and its almost as if he's more tense around me. should i have sex with him? Is this a sign that now is the right time? or will i lose him if i dont?

Do you want to? If so, by all means, have sex with him. It's a great feeling and with protection, safe as well. Rubber up and hop on that man.

Yeah, your right time is not when it's better for him. It's when it's better for you. Even if it's years from now.

A male reader, kenny United Kingdom +, writes (2 August 2008):

kenny agony auntYou should only have sex with him if the time is right for you, not if the time is right for him. When you are in the company of his friends it should not matter what they think, the fact that they talk about their sex lives is inconsequential, and you should not feel uncomfortable by it. If you are not ready to have sex yet at his point in your life your partner should respect this decision until you are ready to do so.

All the best x
