writes:I had sex on a Monday, Tuesday, and the Friday (we don't use condoms but I am on the pill.Problem. I took the pill everyday this week except the Saturday because I forgot.On the Sunday morning I took 2 pills and then 10 hours later I took another 2 before bed - (just like I would have taken the Morning After Pill)The only problem is - the whole of Sunday night I was up vomiting all night. So it basically didnt help me at all.Can anybody give me some advice regarding this? Should I continue on taking the pill once daily after I have been so sick?

reader, anonymous, writes (6 April 2009): I think your best bet is to see your doctor, or go to a walk in clinic. I don't know how effective things will be if you have been vomiting. At the same time, it's never a good idea to stop taking hormones cold turkey, so to speak, without consulting your doctor first. Good luck.
