A female Ireland age 36-40, anonymous writes:

Whats your opinions on a guy who smokes pot a few times a week?

this guy is one of my close friends..

he said he has been smoking it since he was young. its like he needs it to relax after work.

sometimes at the weekends he takes "e" tablets. he says he can control them and does them every 4 months but now he has seemed to have cut them out of his life

could there be an underlying problem for him taking them?

A reader, anonymous, writes (13 December 2008):

Well obviously he shouldn't be taking drugs.

But I occasionaly smoke pot (maybe once every 2-3 months) and take ecstacy every once in a while (maybe every 3-4 months).

For me it's just a bit of fun it doesn't necessarily mean there is a problem. Just keep an eye on him - if he starts having mood swings or missing work because he got high and couldn't get up in the morning then there is a problem.

Ultimately it's his body and it's his choice what he does with it.
