Problem being we're both quite shy and I've never asked anyone out to their face beforeI'm not sure but people think she may be interested in me with how much we talk (we talk a lot, sometimes popping up to each other randomly) and when we talk face to face she has her feet pointed towards me. Could she like me?More than anything, I want to remain friends with her because she's such a lovely person so I'm a bit afraid of barking up the wrong tree incase she may get a bit creeped out and not want to be friends. How could I go about asking her out without scaring her off?

Instead of telling her how you feel why not gauge how she feels by asking her out....
I agree with Notsohappy.... "hey wanna go this weekend for a cup of coffee?"
