A reader, anonymous, writes (22 August 2009):

If you always bring up the past and make her feel uncomfortable she won't want to speak to you anymore about anything. But also, be yourself, don't change who you are. In time you will get over her.

Best of luck

Starlights agony auntFirstly if you continue to bring up the past with your ex it may lead her to cut you out of her life completely so realise now you have to change.

this isnt healthy for either of you.

If you have declared your love to your ex and she does not want you back: you have your answer.

Dont waste your energy & time pursuing this because its a loss cause, your gf's decided what she wants.

You have to accept your gf does not want you in that way anymore and has moved on.

This doesnt mean you wont be happy. Alot of people have had breakups and go on to meet a better partner, so have faith!

Good luck!
