writes: I started sleepin with this girl in the begining or march. She had he period like 2 weeks later. She called me yesterday and said that she is pregnant. Is it to soon for that to show up on a pregnancy test? Please help.

reader, anonymous, writes (21 April 2010): it may or may not be too soon to tell - i knew i was pregnant before i could even take a test, i knew my body well enough to recognise very sutle changes (i'm 5 months pregnant) thus maybe she is the same, she knows she is pregnant before being able to take a test. Maybe she told you to prepare you but if in doubt - buy her a pregnancy test and ask her to take it, say you are a believe it when you see it sort of guy and right now still in shock and disbelief etc therefore seeing results of a test would help you accept it better.

First Response test can work 6 days before a missed period. If her period was supposed to be on April 15th, it's enough time to tell if she is pregnant.

reader, anonymous, writes (21 April 2010): A pregnancy test can show a result pretty accurately right around the time a woman would have her period. If she had her last period in mid-march, then she would've probably had it again by now (unless she has a really long cycle). It is about the right time for an accurate test. Sorry.
