I really really like her and she has said she has 'a serious soft spot' for me. She puts 6 x's on the end of each text. I normally don't read much into that stuff but 6 is a lot to put.. but she has also told me that she has liked another guy for over 5 months.. and she still has strong feelings for him. We have met up a few times and talked a lot and then had a little kiss at the end, but something just didn't feel right as much as I liked her. So last week I asked to meet up with her and talk about this situation as I was so unclear about it. When we did meet up I asked her who she liked more me or him and she said him although she does have a big thing for me too.. She carried on talking about him and obviously I didn't want to hear it. I just don't know what to do now, I still really really like her but part of me thinks I should give up and move on even though I know how hard it would be. What should I do?

I personally wouldn't give up. She's into you....obviously she's into another guy as well but if he isn't showing any interest in her like you do her feelings for him will eventually fade out. I think you definitely have a chance still, just give it some more time.
