writes:I was dating this girl for just over 2.5 yrs and she broke up with me out of the blue. She says she needs time to think about it yet she talks to me everyday and wants to. Her friends also say not to talk to me. She said she was confused and needed to get things figured out also. What should i do and should i expect the worst? She cries everytime she sees our pictures and talks to me. I think im the one who is confused.

reader, anonymous, writes (11 March 2007): Well, that does sound confusing...she is obviously trying to work out something in her mind where the two of you are concerned....the only thing you can do is ask her what she wants from you, is it to get back together?
Also, try to discuss what broke you up in the first place, do some changes need to be made on your part or hers? It could be that at your young age this relationship has simply run its course, and your ex is just feeling a bit blue or lonely because she has not found someone else.
Anyting is possible, the only way to find out is to risk a sit down and talk about what you expect now from each other. Good Luck.
