writes:Last friday i walked the glass collector home from my local, we had been flirting for a few weeks. We always have a laugh when shes at work and im in the pub and get on realy well. I waited till she finished work and walked her home. I asked her for her number and she gave it to me as we walked. Once I left her at her home, i sent her a text saying i was serious about taking her out. She replyed saying she knew and i should give her a call. The following day i text her, no reply, next day the same. The third day i rang her and couldnt hear her so i said id ring her later. She did not answer when i rang later on. Does this mean she isnt interested and was just toying with me? She is 17 and im 20 if that makes any difference.

reader, anonymous, writes (18 June 2007): Well, you shouldn't have texted her in the 1st palce. You should have just called her. Texting kind of shows that you're too scared to talk to her in person. And the fact that you couldn't hear her might have annoyed her. Women don't like waiting and beating around the bush. Maybe she just didn't answer b/c she was busy..it doesn't mean that she doesn't like you. Just call her again and if she doesn't answer leave a message with your # and say that you hope she calls you back. I'd also say if I don't hear back from you I won't call again. Be very up front and direct. But don't text someone until you know them on a better level.

I would like to suggest you talk to her in person. Tell her how u feel and find out what she indeed wants. Dont let this bother you whatever comes out of this i'm sure u can still work your way through and be friends, you seems like a nice person.

 dont write to her anymore for a while!wait at her answear! the worst is when the guy is insisting too much!i personally hate it !!it can ruin everything!if u ar working together then when u will have occasion just ask her why she didnt anseawr and say that if she dont like to go out with u she can tell it to u and u dont mind. off course I know that u would mind but keep it for yourself and dont show your feelings too quickly!the girls like jerks!unfortunatly! in the relationships not but at the begining its good that its not so so easy. Anyway I hope her mobile fall into river and that was the reason why she didnt ansear you!!!good lack sorry i dont know the exact words to express my opinion but I hope it would be helpful
