I've been in a relationship for 4 years and have a baby of 1 year, I recently saw my ex-boyfriend in the pub and haven't been able to stop thinking about him and having dreams of myself and him being together. Does this mean that I am not actually in love with my partner and that I still have feelings for my ex?? Im so confused

Just because you dream of someone doesnt meant you still love them. Dreams are merely a collection or vault of memories that have stored over the past few days. It happens to people all the time. Same with if you have dreams of having sex with someone you don't know or have only seen around once. Dreams have no meanings, though most people seem to believe they can show your your current mental state (and technically this is true) But as I said, seeing him in your dreams may have just been because you seen him recently.

cd206 agony auntSeeing your boyfriend has just stirred up some odd feelings. I don't think it means you don't love your current boyfriend, you just feel wistful for what you used to have. Put this out of your mind. Deep down I think you're happy with your current boyfriend and child, you're just missing the good old days when you were free. If you think about it though, I'm sure you'll agree that you wouldn't change anything for your baby.

kenny agony auntI would say that you have mixed feelings, you have been with your current boyfriend for 4 years and have a child with him, and obviously love him. I think seeing your ex boyfriend in the pub has triggered off old memories that you had together. If i was you i would leave it that, old memories. I woulden't try to get in contact with this ex, leave it as water under the bridge and concentrate on your new family.

Good luck x

brooke5426 agony auntEveryone feels a bit funny when they see an ex after a long period. You get butterflies and feel a whole rush of different emotions. And it'll stay on your mind for a while. Your just remembering how you felt about him back then, its probably not how you feel about him now. x x

It means that you still have feelings for you ex. It doesn't mean that you don't love your current boyfriend. Just don't let the thoughts of your ex take over you then you will really be confused.
