It's very unlikely so long after surgery, as phil says normally after 2 months post op everything is fine.
But nothing is 100% so if in doubt get checked by a doctor and if you are really paranoid use condoms as well. Remember you can still get STIs even with the snip.

There have been cases where the vas deferens (the part that's snipped during a vasectomy) regenerated enough over the years that sperm were once again found in the ejaculate. I don't know if it's one in a million or even longer odds. But it's happened.

reader, anonymous, writes (27 April 2009): I had one 28 years ago and I haven't fathered any children since! Once he's had the 'all clear' - about 2 months post-op if I remember correctly - the chances of pregnancy are anything between zero and not a hope!
