I must say before I start this answer that some people's personalities can be completely different to when they are in 'real life' and on the internet. Sometimes people can feel more confident on the interent, their personalities can change in a finger click. Also, they might not be who they say they are. However...
It's quite nice that you seem fasinated by him - always thinking about him etc. Maybe your personalties are similar? maybe you feel that if you both met up you would get on really well. I think you should talk to him and see whether you have anything in common. You never know, a good friendship could come out of this.

What you have fallen for is your own imaginary person - very easy to fall for such a perfect ideal!!!!

reader, anonymous, writes (1 March 2007): It's possible, but falling in love is so different than being in love. It's possible you're highly attracted to what you think he is like in your mind coinciding with his profile, but that is a biased perspective and not necessarily an accurate one.
