I start feeling vety tired 10 or 12 days before my period, and I am more likely to get colds or flue. I have been thinking about consulting my gynecologist but the Gp asked me to wait a month to see if I got better by practising exercise and drinkin more as the cause may be I retain liquids, I got better for the first month but now I'm back to the same symptoms, I feel worried as my mum suffered genital cancer and I regret goin to the doctor just in case, I'm not on the pill nor in a relationship nor having sex..any ideas or advice?thanks

Hi,
you may want to see an acupuncturist. They will address the headaches, fatigue, retention, and breasts tenderness. In chinese medicine terms, you may have qi stagnation. This is a very general statement. I also would love to send you an herbal formula for pms. I am a startup company and have gone through 6 formulations with 20 testers to get the right remedy for PMS symptoms. you can contact me at [email address blocked] if you want a free bottle as a promo.
otherwise, try acupuncture and get an herbal prescription at that time. herbs such as Vaccaria seed are great for breast tenderness and cinnamon twigs for moving the qi and keeping you healthy. This isa simplified version but it may help.

Hi!
You have to find a maagement programme for your PMS. I suffered badly as a teenager. I have just brought my 2 daughters through this - one suffers badly, the other hardly at all. If it is really bad, you should talk to your Mom and also your doc. The micro-pill can help a lot. Otherwise go for herbal teas before your days are due, I recommend camomile or fennel teas. Use aromatherapy. Massage your belly and body with oils perfumed with rose and jasmine or melissa. Arrange your calender so that you have as little stress as possible on your "days". Hope this helps!

Your not alone with this,i also suffer from many of the symptoms you have stated, normally for breast tenderness and bloated stomache this is due to water retention which alot of women store (me included) you can get tablets for this from your GP or at the pharmasist..but there is not alot you can really do about this problem unless the doctor prescribes something for you as it is to do with your hormones they vary each month..exercise is good as your GP said..an also women tend to get less PMS being on the pill..but if it is really affecting you this much then maybe see your doctor..i just learn to live with it as my months of pms vary..one month i may be ok the next i feel bloated feeling tender with tiredness being moody and emotional..but try exercise see how you get on..
