writes:I have recently was contacted by an old boyfriend from highschool. It has been almost 30 yrs since we have spoke and he has looked for me online and finally found me on facebook. I had done the same...look for him and googled his name. We are both very excited about being friends and talking again. He was amazing and so handsome and still looks handsome. I was not sure if I should have any concerns of what he said to me. He told me he still had feelings for me and wants to keep me in his life. I dont know if I should be excited or if that is scarey. He told me he still has a picture of me that he has carried with him all the time. Does anyone have an oppinion on this? My oldest son thinks that his behavior is creepy.

 He sounds like he has never forgotten y ou from high school. He could have romantic notions of reliving those days but obviously 30 yrs down the line things have changed. Meet up with him and be like old friends, tell each other how you've done in your life. It's quite normal. you may even enjoy it. As far as those feelings go, they can be quite strong if y ou are holding a candle for someone. Obviously for things to pan out it's got to be mutual.
