Old crush from highschool poked me on Facebook?

A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

A guy I had a big crush on in high school just poked me on Facebook. I haven't seen him for 2 and a half years since I left my hometown for college. In high school we were always staring at each other but we only spoke a few times. We were both nervous as hell around each other. I even rejected his friend request on FB at the time due to nerves.

All I've heard about him since then is that he got accepted into med school.

Why did he do this after all this time?

Do you think he's being creepy?

What should I do?

I still like him.

Cool! Go with it. Flirt back with him. Poke him back, maybe send him a message or leave him a comment on a photo or something. Don't get too personal about your feelings or anything. Just keep it light, fun and flirty.

Good luck

It's hardly creepy, is it? I'm not sure why you're making such a big deal about a poke on Facebook.

If you like the guy send him a request and if you don't then don't. Simple isn't it?

ImmortalPrincess agony auntFacebook pokes don't mean anything other then just a non verbal/written way of saying hello. It's just another way of getting someone's attention. If you like him then you should accept his friend request.
