writes:I feel really stupid asking this question but would it be unfair to date my exs housemate. My ex lives with 4 other lads one of the others parents rented houses. They have lived together 2 years and i was with my ex 1 1/2 years. Anyway we have been broken up for about 8 months. I always thought his housemate was cute and we got to know each other recently properly. Although my ex is aware we have been out for a meal and things, i dont feel comfortable when he talks about us being a couple. Its not that i want my ex back because i dont and i really like this guy but im just not sure if it would be a good idea? Also we have only kissed and he wouldnt rush me because hes a true gent. Kinda one of a kind. My ex was a bit of a dick to me so im not use to be treated so good.

You can do what you want, and you've been broken up with your ex for a little while now. He should be over it, should being the key word here.
The only problem I see it causing is tension in their home, thus causing drama for everyone living there. If I were this housemate, I'd have another living situation as a back up in case he is asked to leave due to the drama.
Other than that, you should face no backlash for dating him.
