 talk to him tell him how you feel, let him know that it will take time for you to love him properly.
if it's just time you need then talk to him about it and let him know, if there is other issues that you need to sort out first tell him that, just don't leave him hanging on because you never know which way its going to go, you could fall madly in love with him or you could stop liking him even the littlest bit and it could go wrong.
talk to him let him know, if he dosent know then hes going to be confussed and wondering why you never say it back and one day hes going to ask you, you know he is, just talk see what happens.

 You need to take some time out and work out what you really feel for your boyfriend as if you don't want to be with him you need to let him go so he can be with someone that will love him like he loves them.
