writes: I'm almost 19 weeks pregnant and just started exercising three weeks ago. Within the first few days I lost 2 pounds and I haven't gained a pound since. I'm almost 5 months and haven't gained any weight since my 4th month check-up. I haven't been eating less, actually I think I'm eating a lot more. Could I have just lost the excess weight I gained because I was bed ridden for the first months? Has any one else experienced this? (I have an appointment in a week so I will definetly bring it up to my ob/gyn, but for now anyone's advice or experiences with this will be helpful) Reply to this Question Share |

I'm about 19 weeks too && I only weigh 103 lbs. I was getting worried too as this is not much of a weight gain at all. are you showing at all? because I am but I still don't weigh much. I don't understand it.

reader, anonymous, writes (4 March 2009): A lot of woman dont start showing until the last for months,but still eat healthy and ask a doctor about it just in case its something els.Anotherthing try different foods most woman during there pregnancy only crave sertain foods,and thats what they eat a lot of.But you may still be to earlly to have these cravings.

reader, anonymous, writes (4 March 2009): Is this your first baby? With my first I only gained 18 lbs and that was 6 months of pregnancy and on. And she was an 8 lb baby. Make sure to talk to the doc about it asap though. Good Luck!
