She gave me her number on a piece of paper (i didn't have my phone with me at the time.) when I left later I texted the number she gave me so she can have my number, but I didn't get a confirm reply or anything...The following day I texted to verify that we were going to the beach still and no respond either...How do I go about this situation? Did I just got denied or was there something else happened? Is there a way to find out if she denied me without looking retarded? Like I said I know where she work but don't want to show backup if i know she denied me already. Thanks

Could be she saw your number when you texted her, but she wasn't sure who you were and didn't reply?
Or... she gave you a fake number..
If you know where she works, you could show up and talk to her some more, if she seems distant or don't want to chat back up and step away. That would mean.... SHE isn't interested.
