 you like attention and hey you're getting it. you can't have the best of both worlds and you need to work out why you're craving his attention. the best idea is to get him out of your life and get over it. life is one big game and you are a tiny player. but it's not fair on him or you.

reader, anonymous, writes (4 October 2007): You either want his attentions or you don't! Make your mind up which it is, and if you still want to be rid of him then tell him! He's probably under the misapprehension that you fell the same for him as he does for you. If you keep him dangling on a string that would be a bit cruel.
