I am having a meeting with my boss very soon and I wondered if I could say to him, that the work I am doing is damaging my health, as in, having sleepless nights, losing concentration, becoming reclusive and having bouts of crying? These are not his problems are they? Would he be interested, or just come back with the answer, it's all part of the job? I love my job, but lately things have been piled on me and the managers I have are not very sympathetic, since I guess they are under pressure too, which is why I have gone straight to the boss.I work with the public, and one mistake and it could cause a lot of trouble in my professional and personal life.ThanksAH

"the work I am doing is damaging my health"? so yes it is their responsibility because if you are under that amount of pressure then its at their hands and what you are being asked to do is not right, NO JOB is worth damage to health. i think you could mention it, i'm sure he'll take it on board and let you say how you feel, if not you could report it to a sympathetic person in hr prior to the discussion. good luck hun, and remember, its only a job!! xx
