Is there a particular reason that you do not want to go to the doctor? If you are afraid that Bacterial Vaginosis is linked with sexual intercourse, this is not the case. You do not necessarily have to be sexually active to get a vaginal yeast infection.

I'm sure must of the people they don't wash using water and soap after going to bathroom so now the only way to wash the vgaina area when the person take bath or shower and that is not enough because no one take a shower more than towice/day also towice/ day not even close enghough. That tell us that we have to wash the vgina eria more than 5 times/day using water and soap even after sextioul activity every time you go to the bathroom also, so that way if you going for more activity you are Preventing from smells and other Disease as well because the vgina area is very Sensitive Area. After all this process could take up to 40 days the only thing I can tell you get use to this process on a daily base OK.Thanks all.V/ROmara

There's no reason you shouldn't go to a doctor! Go to the doctor and let him or her check you for infection!
If it's happening after sports, it's probably just a lot of sweat. At the age you are, you may be having lots of hormones coursing through your body making you smell pretty strong.
Keep the external genitals clean. Wash thoroughly after exercise. I don't recommend washing with soap, but just with water. Soap can irritate the thin, sensitive skin of genitals. (Actually it was a doctor when I was in college who told me to stop washing with soap! I'm just passing on his advice!)
Good luck!

You have a problem then... Good luck with that... But seriously, go see a damn doctor. I'm sure you're still under your parents insurance plan, so why not? I would rather deal with the embarassment of going to a doctor, saying that I smell like fish in my special spot, than having a guy over and having him wonder "what the hell?" when he goes down on me... So yeah... EATCHYOWHOPPA!!!

First and foremost: Don't Douche. It can make things worse.
The vagina is a sensitive area, and some just smell very unique.
The only at home remedies I can offer are to wash daily with a fragrance free soap, and wear cotton panties to keep the area dry. Excess moisture is usually the problem. What sports do you do? If you're worried about pantie lines, check out Victoria's Secret, they have a lot of cute, cotton undies. Dept. stores will too.
You should see a doctor though. Ask your gyno. They can run some tests to make sure that everything is running smoothly down there. Worst case, you might have higher levels of yeast, or another infection in the works. don't be embarrassed, your doctor hears things like this daily. It's their job.

Utilize the power of google. Type in the search box "vagina smells like fish" and your eyes will feast on a wealth of medical information and advice.
But really, go see a doctor.
