My gf wont tell someone off if she is offened while my sister would. She makes my gf feel uncomfortable in my own home just by the things she says, my gf is sad about that, my gf said she didnt like my sister because she makes her feel uncomfortable. I made the mistake of telling my sister what she said. I was just so angry at my sister for doing this to her. Today is my both my sister's b-days and my mom invited my gf over for dinner. My sister freaked out and said she did not invite my gf over and said she would be mean to her on purpose at the dinner table. I dont know i can mend or even create a postive relationship between my sister and my girlfriend, i really need some help on this one? Reply to this Question Share |

I take it this is a younger sister? She sounds like she has considerable growing up to do. Is your mother aware of this behaviour? Your sister could use a parental lesson on common courtesy.
Sometimes the best solution is avoidance -- hang out at your girlfriend's place rather than yours.
