reader, anonymous, writes (13 September 2006): well to lawfully answer your question, you're technically not an adult. you're still a minor. so if you run off with this guy, you're mom can legally choose to make a police report and have you returned. BUT. and that's a big but. most police stations don't bother really looking too hard if you're 17. but the law aside, like that last poster said, i would REALLY think long and hard about this before you make any rash decisions. because like he said, you really don't realize just how little you know about the world at that age. but i wish you the best of luck still.

I know that at 16 you feel on top of the world and that you know exactly what you are doing. Thats what we all thought at that age. I really hope that doesn't sound condescending. Please listen to your mum. She just wants you to be kept safe. No matter if she trusts your bf or not, which after 2 years of respecting your relationship with him, im sure she does.
When you say 'back to Arizona' do you mean to live there or for a holiday or college or what though?
