My parents have a problem with me dating younger guys

A female Malaysia age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Dear cupid,

I've always went out with guys older than me because I find guys younger very immature and childish.I've had many boyfriends in the past, all of them were at least a year older than I am.

But now I'm a senior and I broke up with my boyfriend 2 and a half months ago. I had many guys approaching me after that, but none of them made me feel special. But then, last month, there was a new kid in school.

I first noticed him during long jump practice. He was doing laps on the field and always slowed down to watch me whenever he passed by.

I didn't really paid much attention to this, but again he caught my attention during lunch time.

I was in the library studying and he just came in and sat on the chair opposite me.

I did what any other girl would do, I just looked up from my book and stared at him.

He just smiled and asked for my number.

We started texting after that and he sometimes approaches me in school and walks me to classes.

He always makes me laugh and smile everyday.

One day he asked me out and I agreed.

Our first date was at a funfair and we did all those romantic stuff like on tv.

I know it might be crazy, but I think I'm in love with this guy just after 3 weeks knowing him.

We've gone out on 9 dates and on the 10th, he asked me to be his girlfriend.

To me age doesn't matter, but what I'm afraid of is not what everyone in school thinks (because I know my friends will support me no matter what crazy things I do) but what I'm worried about is what my parents would think. My mum and dad would have a heart attack if she knew all this while I've been going out with someone the same age as my little brother. What should I do? say yes or no. Because right now he's still waiting for an answer .
