A female United States age 30-35, *ittlemomma writes:

My mother in-law is driving me batty! I love her to pieces... truthfully more than my own mom (long story). However every time my husband (her son) does ANYthing she disagrees with she blames me! He had to come back from Collage 'cause he was bankrupt and couldn't pay for a single thing, not even a dollar menu or ANYthing... she blames me... he sold his truck 'cause we needed a family car and couldn't afford to keep up with both cars... she blames me. He didn't go back to college... she blames me. His first car broke down in Arizona (we're in Oregon) and she blames me... EVERYTHING that she doesn't like that effects him she blames no one but ME!!

Now my husband is joining the Army (going to MEPS today even) and she's soooo pissed off, hanging up the phone, not talking ect ect ect...guess what!! SHE BLAMES ME!!

She says he's an idiot and selfish and that he should go back to school. That he's only doing it 'cause I want him to...UG!!

Most people find it hard to deal with her on a regular basis, but for the most part I can. Her crap isn't that big of a deal to me... I'm just sick and TIRED of her blaming me for every little thing! I've talked with my husband, who has talked with her... but all she does is get even more pissed off!

I don't know... is anyone else having the same problem? Any sugestions aside from talking with her that might help??

Thanks guys! Your a life saver!
