A female reader, anonymous, writes (5 January 2009):

My boyfriend just came back from from Mexico and it seems nothing's the same any more, what should I do? I feel like if I tell him he's going to get mad and it's gunna cause another "50 billion" argument.?

A male reader, long Singapore +, writes (17 December 2008):

Every single couple on this Earth goes through this. It's inevitable.

Relax.

I have gone through this before, it was when I too had begun to lose feelings for my darling. I know how you feel. But this is a period of time where you need to discuss it with your boyfriend. You can also seek comfort from your friends.

The "fade" could be due to the fact that you two are getting too comfortable around each other; like family, you love them but it's been there for so long till it becomes a part of your life. (I guess?)

Do Not split up. It is illogical and will only bring about pain from every single side, his family, your family and the family you two have now brought up. Most importantly, the couple themselves.

Talk to him. Spend more time with him. Take time to relax, take a day off to have a pleasant day together. Clear your mind. Through this, your heart will be in a much better state and you will know how both sides, especially yourself, are feeling.
