Not much information offered, but all of us go through phases. At his probable age, any long-term result of this nature should be short-lived if he is healthy and has not lost interest in the relationship. One suggestion might be to spice things up a bit, but you did not say enough about what you are doing (or not).

My husband and I had the same issue after having a flawless sex life, it got to the point where we simply stopped doing it as much, so, I bought a couple of good porns, a little costume he would enjoy, and a sex toy for myself in case he finished before I was ready. He has no problem using the toy on me if I had not yet been satisfied, which solved the frustration that he had and the need for satisfaction that I had. There is no problem with needing a little help in the bedroom, especially if it works getting the sex life that you know and love back;)
