My friend just featured in my dream and I wonder if that means anything?

A female Philippines age 22-25, anonymous writes:

Hi! So I once had a dream about watching sunset in the middle of the sea (it's really weird but all my dreams are like that) with a guy but he had no face, and in my dream I think we are in a relationship (because we are doing sweet acts with each other). That dream happened for about 2 years ago. Last night I dreamt the same dream, except that the guy was my friend. I think the part where I dreamt about my guy friend wasn't weird since it's pretty normal for us people to think about someone unconsciously. The weird part was that it was the same dream from 2 years ago, but my friend was the guy. I have just met him 4 months ago so I don't think it was really him from the first time I dreamt about it. Does this mean something? I'm just really curious and weirded out. If you can help me, thank you!

A male reader, Denizen United Kingdom +, writes (26 July 2017):

Denizen agony auntThe thing about dreams is, does it mean something to you? Dreams are a way for the unconscious to speak to the conscious. You need to look more to what the feelings you experienced were in the dream, rather than the situation. Dreams tend to use whatever is lying around in the unconscious to portray the message.

Dreams are entirely yours. It is highly implausible that they are sent from a mystic realm. You may also be convinced you have had a dream before. It may just be a trick of the unconscious. Don't place too much value on the content. It might just mean you are searching for companionship or similar.
