writes: I have a big problem that I don't see a way out of. I have recently met this guy and we decided to give going out a try. However my friend (who is male) has just told me he loves me! We have been friends for ages and I have never given him any reason to think that there may be a chance of us ever going out. I don't like him in that way! I live in the same flat as him, and ever since he told me he loves me it has been difficult to be around him. I do not want to lose either my boyfriend or my friend but I also don't see our friendship going back to the way it used to be. What should I do? Please help! Reply to this Question

I still believe i have done the right thing though by telling him i do not like him in that way and that i am with someone and that will not change.
