We just broke up today, ended it on good terms, because things recently had been getting kinda strained, b/c we didnt have that much to talk about anymore. We still want to be friends, and we will, it's just really hard because we've been together for a year and I've never been in a relationship for that long, and he's the first guy I really truly cared about. Now I have to stay strong, please help me? How did you stay strong after you and your first love broke up? Thank you x

if im honest, i didnt stay strong. i was with my boyfriend for a year and a half, we split up 6 months ago, i still find it hard and i still cry but no way near as much as when we first split up, time really does help, i know you are thinking, thats stupid! it will take forever, but if you just go out with your friends and forget him if only for a little while it makes you feel better! but please allow yourself to cry and talk about him with your friends because thats part of the healing process. stay strong by keeping yourself busy and have fun! you're 15 with your whole life ahead of you!
