writes:Hi i was wondering if anyone can please give me some advice or insight to my confusion.Basically me and my ex broke up two months ago, i had not been paying him enough attention and got really lazy about making an effort with him due to me going through a hard time at work. I totally understand why he left me and i dont blame him at all. Though the breakup came out of the blue for me. The trouble is I work at the same place as him and we have kind of been getting along. He told me he needs time to get his head straight but he still cares for me etc.Then a week ago it appears on facebook that he is in a relationship with somebody else. It broke my heart. I sent him a message saying i hope it works out etc and that i would stop texting him.The next time i knew i would see him at work I curled my hair the way he likes and pretty much made sure i looked beautiful. It worked he couldnt take his eyes off me and we flirted loads then he finally said "will you take me back". I felt like my heart was going to burst i wanted to just scream yes but instead told him to finish with her then we can have a chat. All night he messaged me saying lets meet tomorrow and see if we can talk through what went wrong and see if the sparks still there.I went round the following day and we talked loads and ended up kissing and cuddling. My ex chased me for four months before we got togther as i was unhappy with my current man, he got chatting to his current girl back then but we obviously got together.Anyway our chat ended and he said hes scared to get back with me in case i hurt him again and he cried! this tore me up inside. we agreed not to speak till we come face to face in work on wednesday as he says he needs to feel he misses me.I honestly dont know what to do, i feel ive had him ripped from me again seeing as i was so close to thinking i had him back. How can i make him see im sorry and i'd never give him a reason to leave again. I honestly wouldnt! I dont know if he feels bad about leading this girl on again after he had chose me before.Please can someone give me any kind of guidence, tips o advice. Thank you in advance

 There's an old expression.... "once bitten, twice shy"
It applies to dogs.... but can be extended to women if they behave like dogs.... (and, believe me, they're NOT immune to such behaviour!!!!!)
