My girlfriend of seven years and I have recently broke up. She initiated the break up by saying that we were just too different.

In the beginning she said we had so much in common. A month after the break up she called and told me she was dating someone and things were going great for her.

This made me jealous but I stayed calm and ended the call with kindness. She has done this before only she actually broke up with me on the phone after four years together. A year later she came back just before the guy she left me for was about to propose.

My question is, why did she call to tell me she was dating someone after we had been broken up over a month? Do you have any advice on why she acts this way?

in my view your ex is probably just trying to see if you'll react and kick off with her. to be honest i think and feel that it was a very selfish thing for her to do. try not to let it get to you to much and im know its easier said than done but in time things will work out for you too. just stay stong and hold your head high. Hope all works out for you best of luck.
