writes: my bf cousin doesnt like me, which is fine but he constantly puts me down and says nasty things to others about me. my bf knows about this but doesnt want to do anything about it as they have not spoken in two years and have only recently resumed their friendship and he doesnt want to cause any hassels but in the mean time he is spending all his time with them and i only see him when he's dirty hungry tired or needs money, this behaviour is only recent will it pass or is it time to let go. when i try and talk to him he yells at me and trys to turn it all back on me.

sentiment is verified as being by the original poster of the questionthanks for the advice i did take it upon myself to do as you suggested and i spoke with his cousin to which his reply was a lame no thats not true i dont have anything against you but half an hour later i overheard him backstabbing me to another so i called him a pussy because he couldnt say to my face when i asked him what he had been saying to everyone else, anyway long story short will talk to the bf tonight and see how it goes i actually feel quite empowered after taking your advice thanks and will keep you posted on the outcome.
